Zep reunion rumors fuel ticket sales

Imagine seeing a Led Zeppelin reunion concert advertised: Page, Plant and Jones all in one place with whatever drummer. You want a ticket, right? In fact, you want a whole ticket package. If you don't live near the venue, you also want a hotel and transportation. Convenient: Somebody's advertising a whole package.

Only problem: This Led Zeppelin reunion isn't confirmed. It's only one of a zillion reported reunions over the last 27 years. And we're all too familiar with the history of a Led Zeppelin reunion not happening and the circumstances that make reuniting impossible.

But they're selling tickets, you assure yourself. That must be legit, right?

Think again. BBC headline: "Led Zep Ticket Row; Fans warned not to buy from touts."

Don't waste your money.

  1. I guess it doesn't matter if you have all the money in the world though and don't mind taking a chance on a concert/travel package that might not be legit. If it turns out to be legit, you're sitting on a goldmine.

Anyway, another concern is how would the band sound in 2007? One scottish band, The View, sure has its thoughts on the subject:

  2. The reunion is official, and part of that announcement is the fact that tickets are available exclusively from www.ahmettribute.com. So, what's that mean for the ticket packages that have already been sold?
